Are there secondary effects?
The secondary effects in well-conducted treatment are possible but stay temporary, like a light reddening of the skin or a local oedema which disappears in a few hours. One can go back to work the same day and resume all activities, except immediate exposure to the sun. It is essential that the hairs are not discoloured, nor that there has been removal of the hairs with tweezers or wax on the days preceding the treatment. In case of peribuccal herpes or of recent bronzing, this must be reported at the session.
Most people can be treated by these systems of hair removal which are effective, rapid and comfortable. All the same it is necessary to have medical advice.
It is why a preliminary consultation is obligatory. Do not hesitate to discuss the desired results and the expected improvement. The doctor and the patient in the first free consultation conclude in concrete terms on the expectations and appropriate character of the treatment.
